Work Life Juggle
I started experiencing hidradenitis suppurativa not even 3 years ago now. I am 23 going on 24 and currently have 7 painful open sores in my groin area, all of which are about the diameter of a pencil, if not bigger. It hurts to walk, stand, and when they drain, I get super sick.
I feel like every job that I’ve had has either looked at me different for it, or just think that it’s not a big deal and that it’s just a “skin” issue. I really hope someone can help me out with this because I’m losing so much income when I feel sick or depressed I don’t want to leave the house. I want to just stay home and take baths and pretend I’m not in pain.
