As we moved ahead in the series, I decided to discuss the reality of how hidradenitis suppurativa is a very complicated condition. While acknowledging the complex aspects of the disease, I also started the conversation about how HS can be managed.

When I first received my diagnosis, it seemed daunting to get a hold of the condition because of its complex nature. However, as I started to patiently work with my medical team, I found with intentional steps my condition was manageable.
