As someone with Hidradenitis Suppurativa, going to the doctor can be nerve-wracking. One way our friends or family can support us (and better understand HS) is by attending the doctors’ appointments as well.

In Part 2 of the conversation between Katy and Gwen, Gwen explains how she supported Katy by joining her and advocating for her at a doctor’s appointment as they prepared for Katy to have surgery for her HS. In case you missed it, check out Part 1 of this series!
