Dapsone - what to expect/testimonies?

Hi , thanks for reaching out. I hope some of our community members with experience on Dapsone can chime for you here. Trying to find a treatment that helps can be such a frustrating process since what helps one person doesn't always work for another. Did you doctor mention how long it should take on the Dapsone until you should start to notice a difference in your symptoms? If you haven't already, I encourage you to reach out to your doctor, especially if you're noticing new and worsening symptoms. I'm not a doctor, so I can't speak for certain, but it is possible your doctor might want you to continue trying it for a bit longer, but it's also possible they'll want to move on to something different, so having that conversation with them could be helpful in knowing how long you should be plodding along waiting (and hoping) for relief. I really do hope that you get some relief quickly. HS can absolutely feel like it's taking over life and impact self esteem. You're not alone!
