Have you tried a black tea hot compress?

We are all about trading ideas for over the counter remedies. In case you didn’t know, when you have a sore throat, you can steep 4 bags of basic black tea in boiling hot water for 10 minutes, and then gargle it 4 times a day. Black tea is the #1 food item for tannins, which are highly anti-inflammatory. An added benefit is that black tea is also antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal. It’s consumption friendly AND skin friendly. You can brew those 4 bags and then apply that tea to your skin 4 times a day. Has anyone tried this? I have gargled. Boy, is it bitter. Those microbes don’t stand a chance.
