What are some healthy foods to help with HS

I suffer from HS. What are some good foods to eat?

  1. Hi , I'm so glad you reached out. While I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with HS, it's great that you are seeking out information and resources to help you get some relief. Unfortunately, every person can be different when it comes to food triggers, so knowing exactly what to eat can be tricky since everyone is different. But there certainly are some foods that seem to be triggers for a lot of people. I'm sharing a link to some more information on diet and HS, https://hsdisease.com/diet. One of our advocates also wrote about her experience on starting the AIP diet for her HS, if you're interested, https://hsdisease.com/living/autoimmune-protocol-diet. I hope that, in addition to the feedback from the community here, this information can give you a starting point for figuring out what to eat while managing your HS symptoms. Wishing you a gentle day! -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

    1. For HS, try incorporating anti-inflammatory foods like leafy greens, berries, fatty fish, nuts and whole grains.
Avoid processed foods and sugar, which may worsen symptoms.
